You can register online to become a user of the Hendrik Conscience Heritage Library (Erfgoedbibliotheek Hendrik Conscience).
For this you need an A-card.
If you don't have an A-card yet, you can obtain one for free at various locations in the city of Antwerp (http://www.a-kaart.be) or on-site in the Heritage Library.

The A-card also gives you access to the city archives, libraries and museums, cultural centres and swimming pools in Antwerp.
Optionally you can – if you desire so - also register with your student card or your employee card of the educational institution of which you are a member, if you do not want an A-card.
